Exercise – Steptember Day 6

3.06pm – It’s already half day gone and I’d walked for 1,886 steps only!! Thanks to all the meetings that kept me seated for hours. Urgh… Even if I walk home later on, it’ll be another 3,000 more steps only. Sigh…

4.16pm – The haze is bad… I wonder if walking back home is a good thing… 4,000 steps now…

Exercise – Steptember Day 2

11.25am – Okay… I’d walked around thousand over steps since this morning. Looks like I’ll have to walk more or walk home to clock those steps… But I don’t think it’s a good idea to walk with my heels right? Hmm… should I change to my track shoes instead?

2 of my team members failed (including me) to hit the 10,000 steps yesterday but we will try harder! Ganbatte!

Exercise – Steptember: Step Up to the Challenge!

Alright! It’s ONE MORE DAY to the Steptember Challenge! 10,000 steps a day, can I do it?

This is the first time I joined such challenge. I sure am a little excited! I seriously hope that I won’t get lazy and decide to quit it half way. WSSP, that’s our team’s name. And all these are done for Charity! So please donate and cheer me on!!

From Wednesday, 2 September I will be taking on the challenge of completing 10,000 steps a day, for the entire month of Steptember to raise vital funds for the Cerebral Palsy Singapore.

The average office worker only takes around 3,000 steps per day, so 10,000 steps a day is going to be quite the challenge.

But it’s for a very worthy cause.

Cerebral palsy is the most common physical disability in childhood. One in two people with cerebral palsy are in chronic pain due to the tightening of their muscles. Many will never be able to take a single step without assistance.

If you’re not sure where to start, a donation of $35 could support a child with one hour of physiotherapy.

You can donate to my fundraising page: (http://bit.ly/1JqomGm)

Any amount you contribute would make a huge difference to children and adults living with cerebral palsy and of course encourage me to complete my 10,000 steps per day!

Thank you so much!

P.S. You’ll receive an automated receipt as every donation over $10 is tax deductible.
