Does the food look amazingly deliciously to you? It was, definitely, to me, as I waited for the clock to strike 6pm to indicate OFFICIALLY OFF WORK TIME! I was totally famished by the end of the work day on a no-tea-break afternoon. The half-eaten lunch wasn’t enough to last for 6 hours. Girlfriend and I brainstormed for quite a while on the places to eat before deciding on this for one reason – it’s less than 5 minutes away from where we were. My stomach was grumbling and wouldn’t wait for another half an hour wasted on travelling. But it was a wise decision made. Oh yes, I’m having dinner with my girlfriend, whom I had lunch with. Is there any problem? *Grin*
The uncle that served us was really friendly, as he patiently waited to take our orders. What did we order? Half a crispy roast chicken, tofu and vegetables, and a big bowl of fish maw and crab meat soup! Doesn’t it sounds like a bit of those food that you ate only during Chinese Wedding Dinner? Seriously, it’s yummy! And yes, it’s a little bit too much for the both of us, and of course, we couldn’t finished everything.
Expensive? Well, for all these food, it cost us around S$50, which, to me is a little alright, and it probably is enough for 3 person. Anyway, there seems to be quite a lot of varieties. And if you are looking for Authentic Cantonese food, this will be one of the place!
As for location, the nearest MRT will be the Tanjong Pagar Station, but you’ll need to walk for about 5-10 minutes. This restaurant is located opposite the MND Building, and is beside the red colour building, along Maxwell Road. Enjoy your food!
