It’s not really that accessible, but it seems like quite a nice and quiet place to have a dinner, and enjoy a cup of coffee or tea with friends after that.
I’m currently at the TCC @ The Pier at Robertson, located along Mohamed Sultan Road, in Robertson Walk. It’s a Saturday but yet this place seems rather quiet, unlike the busy streets of Orchard, Marina Square etc. where it’s packed with people. Probably it’s the location of the TCC, instead of being in the middle of Robertson Walk where all the pubs and restaurants are, it’s located somewhere at a corner, and thus, it seems even more quiet.
The service was good. One of the waiter gave us the menu at the moment we sat down, took our orders and served water for us. He’s really friendly. I guess a good service really makes all the difference. But it’s just too bad that somehow, it’s kind of lacking in Singapore, at this point in time at a lot of other places.
Anyway, there’s a promotion going on now, a 1-for-1 for pasta and main course, which is really worth it. I had “Pan-seared Chicken Breast with Shogayaki Sauce”, which was rather nice.
It’s been another busy week and busy day since the morning, as I went to a friend’s house to take a look at his newly renovated house. He got a really nice unit with a nice view. And it’s windy too. Hope mine (in future) will be like that too. It’s time to rest my brain and continue my dinner.
