It’s a Problem When…

You know it’s a problem when you can’t look him straight in the eyes…

When did it happen? Was it when he stop hugging and kissing you on his own accord? Or was it when he kept commenting that your parents are useless? Or maybe it could be at the point where he called you dumb? And that you shouldn’t move your things over because you are such a mess? And your finance is a mess too, and so on and so forth…

And then the next moment, you realised that you get so tensed up and filled with anxieties at every moment where you were deemed to have made a ‘mistake’, regardless of whether you really did wrong or not. You ain’t scare of him but you are scare of those arguments and hurtful words, that pierced right through you, scarring you and took such a long time to heal.

So you took on a defensive mode and shot back at every chance just to protect yourself from getting hurt again.

But…

He didn’t realise that the problem originated from him. And so he continues to think that YOU are the problem. YOU caused things to break down. YOU are the one to be blamed. It’s ALL BECAUSE OF YOU!

*crack*

You can hear it, literally.

You are tired and drained. You cry at every moment alone with no reasons why. You hear his voice scolding at you in your head. It’s everywhere.

You felt useless. You try to search for any achievements but there isn’t any. That makes it worse. You try to reach out for help but no one could hear you. No one…

And you are alone again…
